New sod lawns
in Atlantic County.

The worn-out grass comes up, the soil gets built back, and fresh farm-grown sod goes down, most often in one day. From Brigantine and Margate to Galloway, Mays Landing and Hammonton.

  • Done in a day. Most yards go from old grass to finished lawn in one visit.
  • 30 days of aftercare. We come back for the first cut and the second feeding, and we replace any piece that does not take root.
  • A price by text. Send the address. We size it up from satellite, so most yards need no visit.

Every estimate comes with a free soil test and sprinkler check ($150 value) →

A lawn, and the water to keep it.

We lay the grass in one day. A good sprinkler system keeps it green after we leave.

Install day, step by step.

01

Old lawn out

We cut the old grass and roots down to bare ground and haul it all off. We never spray and till or lay over dead turf.

02

Soil built back up

Composted topsoil goes down in layers. We grade it smooth and work in lime and starter fertilizer.

03

Sod laid and rolled

Grass cut at our Tabernacle farm that morning, laid with tight staggered seams, then pressed down with a 300 lb roller.

Made for sandy ground.

Atlantic County sits on sand, from the beaches of Absecon Island to the Pinelands around Hammonton. Water and food run right through it, so the soil step is what makes a lawn last.

Real compost topsoil — aged 12 months, so new roots have food
Lime goes into every yard — acidic sand starves grass until the pH is fixed
Tall fescue that handles salt air — grown 9 months on our farm and cut the day we lay it
Fine for shore houses — you do not have to be home for most installs

Short answers.

What will my new lawn cost?
Most installs fall between $2.00 and $5.00 a square foot. Our standard rate for an average yard is $2.85, and that covers tear-out, compost topsoil, lime, starter fertilizer, the sod and 30 days of aftercare. Wide open lots can come in lower. Rocks or gravel to dig out first raise it. The smallest job we take is $2,000.
Can you do it while I am away?
For most sod jobs, yes. That makes it easy for shore houses and rentals. If we are hooking up a new sprinkler system, someone needs to let us inside to reach the water shut-off.
